Lovely waitress, also the owner, literally Mom and Pop shop! She said the wisest thing she had ever done is Raise her kids by herself, make an honest living, and treat people with compassion!Chill and very homey! Look at the photos of the food, it comes out Hardy and more than you can eat.

I go here as often as I can! I feel great walking in the door and feel even better after just a coffee or even better, a hardy breakfast. The prices for what you get are by far the most responsible in Vernon. To top things off you get to meet Al and Barb! You will leave with your appetite fulfilled and your heart. Everything here is to be treasured again and again!

Mug N Muffin is my 102nd eatery here in Vernon.I have never been here before. It is interesting to note I worked one block away from this restaurant for six years, but never ate here.I ordered the veggie omelette which included hashbrowns, brown toast, and a drink for 12.02 after taxes.Good luck finding a deal like that anywhere in town.I was amazed how big the plate was and that the hashbrowns are smothered in cheese. Finally, a place in Vernon makes proper hashbrowns. All hashbrowns should include cheese.There are a lot of Montreal Canadiens memorabilia as the owner's husband is a fan of the team.The owner herself has been running this place for sixteen years. She is extremely friendly and is an excellent conversationalist. She is hilarious if she has a free moment to talk to you.Nearly all customers come here during the morning given the neighbourhood's demographic. I was here at 1:30 and was the only customer inside for the next 45 minutes.The meal was delicious and I was absolutely full. The omelette and the hashbrowns were major highlights.I appreciated the music playing too.They also offer several condiments to put on your hashbrowns, omelette, or toast.My 102nd eatery is complete, and I will be back here soon.

Fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch. Barb and Al were incredibly kind and even came to our table to learn more about my husband and I. The food was delicious, prices are incredible, and the old school, ma-and-pa vibes are 10/10!!!!

Such an adorable ma and pa shop! Lovely owners who make you feel like you’re in their home. The classic food menu is bursting with flavour and the prices are excellent. Definitely worth trying if you want a classic diner feel with homemade eats.

This is a cute little hidden gem, I walked in and felt like I walked into a 90’s mom & pop shop. The Elder man and lady running the show are so kind, and absolutely hilarious to hear in the kitchen. I had quite the giggle when she called him an egg head. It’s places like these that make you feel welcome with a meal that tastes like home cooked food. Try it out, support local, the food is amazing and you can’t beat the prices either.

Excellent breakfast omelette for excellent value. The couple who run the place are very kind and lovely to chat with if there’s time. Decor is a bit dated but don’t let that put you off from this hidden gem.
